This month, our researchers analyzed machine learning vulnerabilities and potential remedies. They also looked at the expense reports and 34 of China’s elite “Double First Class” universities to understand the funding behind STEM higher education. The latest Data Snapshots explored our data visualization tool Private-sector AI Related Activity Tracker (PARAT) to understand where AI companies publish their research and how they rank based on AI conference publications. Also included in this month’s Roundup are CSET’s recommendations in response to requests for information by the Office of Science and Technology Policy and the Department of Commerce.
