Pablo Chavez is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at Georgetown’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET). He is technology policy expert currently focus on artificial intelligence and cloud computing. He serves on the board of the Open Technology Fund and is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Center for a New American Security. In addition to his policy research, he advises leading corporations and nonprofit organizations on technology strategy, regulation, and governance.
Previously, Pablo led global public policy for Google Cloud and also directed U.S. public policy at Microsoft and oversaw global policy efforts at LinkedIn. Earlier in his career, Pablo served as a senior staff member in the United States Senate, where he worked on legislation related to technology, privacy, and innovation.
He is a member of the advisory committees for Princeton University’s Center for Information Technology Policy and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. His writing has appeared in Lawfare and other leading publications.
