Ashton Garriott is a Semester Research Analyst at Georgetown’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET), where he works on the CyberAI Project. He is a recent graduate of Georgetown’s Security Studies Program, where he concentrated in technology and national security and was a National Science Foundation CyberCorps Fellow. Prior to his master’s program, Ashton worked as a cybersecurity engineer at the MITRE Corporation, advising government sponsors on cybersecurity policy, risk management and artificial intelligence. He also holds a B.S. from Georgetown University in Science, Technology, and International Affairs.
