CSET’s Josh A. Goldstein was recently quoted in a WIRED article about state-backed hacking groups using fake LinkedIn profiles to steal information from their targets. The article highlights LinkedIn’s ongoing battle against this “inauthentic behavior.”

On the journalist’s Goldstein analyzed LinkedIn posts masquerading as WIRED reporters. He noted, “We have seen propagandists pretend to be journalists to gain credibility with their target audiences.”
