Thuy Nguyen was a Semester Research Analyst at Georgetown’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET), where she researched the use of AI in biotechnology. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. In her thesis work, she studies how the DNA sequence encodes interactions between a pair of essential genes in metabolism. Thuy holds a B.S. in Biology and Biochemistry from Baylor University.
