Matthew Schoemaker

Air Force Fellow Print Bio

Matthew Schoemaker is a Major in the U.S. Air Force and served as an Air Force Fellow at Georgetown’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET). Prior to joining CSET, he was a Program Manager at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Advanced Aircraft Division. Before that assignment, Mathew served in acquisition leadership roles in Air Force Material Command, Defense Innovation Unit, United States Special Operations Command, Naval Air Systems Command, and the Air Force Research Laboratory where he led the development and delivery of premier technologies for the Department of Defense. He holds Master’s Degrees in System Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology and Project Management from Trident University, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
