Kyle Crichton

Research Fellow Print Bio

Kyle Crichton is a Research Fellow at the Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET), where he works on the CyberAI Project. Prior to joining CSET, he was a doctoral student in the Engineering and Public Policy Department at Carnegie Mellon University. His research has focused on the privacy and security of AI systems, use of machine learning in online tracking, and behavior-based prediction in cybersecurity applications. Prior to pursuing his graduate studies, he worked in data science and data management at the Eccella Corporation. He holds a PhD in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, an MS in Cybersecurity and an MPA from Syracuse University, and an AB in Government from Harvard University.
