Konstantin Pilz was a Graduate Research Assistant at CSET’s Emerging Technology Observatory. Prior to joining CSET, Konstantin was a Research Assistant at the Centre for the Governance of AI (GovAI), where he conducted research on the governance of AI hardware infrastructure. His research interests include data centers and the AI supercomputers they host, as well as the emergence and diffusion of dangerous AI capabilities and how society can prepare for them. Konstantin holds a B.Sc. in Biology from Leipzig University and is a candidate for Georgetown University’s MA in Security Studies.
