Charliste Hampton

Inaugural Intern Print Bio

Charliste J.D Hampton was an Inaugural Intern at Georgetown University’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET). Charliste is a Biology major at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. She actively engages in the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS) and the Health Careers Club to expand her knowledge in the medical field. Recognized as a 2022 A.P.E.X Scholar at Morehouse School of Medicine, Charliste’s dedication to research and medicine is evident. This summer, she will conduct research in the Bio-Risk sector at CSET, offering valuable insights for policymakers on how AI can be beneficial to computational biology and medicine.
