Alex Friedland is the Content Strategy and Analytics Manager at Georgetown’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET). He writes policy.ai — CSET’s newsletter on artificial intelligence, emerging technology and security policy. Prior to joining CSET, he was a research intern at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and an assistant producer for the public radio show “On the Media.” Alex holds an M.A. in Security Studies from Georgetown University and a B.A. in History from Brown University.
