CSET’s Jack Karsten shared his expert perspective in an article published by CNN. The article looks at how artificial intelligence is changing the nature of work, using radiology as an example of how AI can support professionals on the job.
Focusing on AI’s potential to complement workers rather than replace them, Karsten said, “(AI) is not only not replacing those workers, but it’s actually increasing the amount of work they can do and increasing demand for their services.” He added, “That’s sort of a bright future that the tech industry can point to as far as this is AI doing good in the economy.”
