Jason Matheny is a commissioner at the National Security Commission on AI and the founding director of the Center for Security and Emerging Technology at Georgetown University. He spoke to me about the commission’s recommendations to Congress that the government establish a senior national security point of contact for AI and convene a multilateral working group with allies for AI collaboration and interoperability – as well as the need for AI war games.
