Senior External Affairs Specialist Print Bio

Shelton Fitch is a Senior External Affairs Specialist at Georgetown’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET). Previously, he worked at the Council on Foreign Relations as a research associate within its Center for Geoeconomic Studies. While at CFR, Shelton’s research work was focused, in part, at the intersection of economics, technology and U.S. foreign policy. Before joining the Council, he interned in the office of former U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD). Shelton earned a B.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University.
