More data and new methods promise to accelerate research and improve science and technology (S&T) analysis. Yet, we are learning how to apply new data and tools to understand the diffusion and application of science and effective interventions to advance innovation. Such work requires combined expertise of academics, industry leaders, government officials, and data scientists. CSET’s Project ATLAS is doing the work to build out these new tools and leverage open source data to better understand the current state of emerging technology research and where it might be headed, all with the goal of informing policymakers passionate about ensuring continued U.S. competitiveness and technological leadership.

Join us on October 21 for an event highlighting Project ATLAS. The afternoon will feature commentary from leading scientific and policy experts across government, the private sector, and research institutions. The event will offer the opportunity for scholars, decision makers, media, and others to engage in formal and informal discussions on U.S. S&T leadership.
