Bresnick and McFaul point to multiple PLA procurement documents that reference Nvidia’s most advanced chips and note that these components are being used to support AI-enabled military systems. They caution that “it is unrealistic to believe that the PLA will not use the world’s most powerful AI chips to advance its military capabilities.”
